Place vs. Time

Note as you review the following information you will note that for the "Heat Results" the "Place" that the car came in is NOT counted, it is the "Time" that is counted and totaled.

Grand Finals

The race heats are by Rank.  Thus all Dens of a given Rank race against each other.  Only the top three (3) from each RANK advanced to the Grand Finals.  Thus, only the Top Three TIGERS, WOLFS, BEARS, or WEBELOS advanced to the Grand Finals.

The Grand Finals is considered a new race and as such all racers start even with no "Time" counted from the previous heats.  There placement and times at the Rank Level do not carry into this race.  It is a "new race."

Speed

The Speed of the cards was based on a track length of approximately 30 Feet and a Car Scale of 1/24th.  The Speed values are NOT used to calculate Ranking/Placement for the race.  It is simply provided for amusement purposes.

Pioneer District Finals

• PLEASE CHECK - IMPORTANT DATES & TIMES!!!!!

The Pioneer District allows each Pack to send four (4) Scouts to the District Finals.  The Top two (2) Tigers and the top two (2) Cub Scouts/Webelos (non-Tigers).

Tigers Chosen

The Pack uses the Grand Finals run to decide the Top Two Tigers to send to the District.

Cub Scouts/Webelos

The Top Two Cub Scouts/Webelos have also been picked from the top two non-Tiger finishers from the Grand Finals.

Runner Ups...

Should a Cub Scout not be able to attend the District Race, then the next fastest car from the Grand Finals race shall be offered the opportunity to attend the District Race to represent the Pack.
